Bukit Timah Hill

The Morning Sky, so clear, you can even see sparkles of daylight from the sunlight(See 2nd photo)...juz like diamonds.... ^.^

One of Singapore famous nature reserve...i have come in contact with recently...every weekends, i can say...

It started on a sunday a few weeks ago, when i accompanied my dad and mum to the morning exercise at Bt Timah Hill. Dad meet up with his frens every sunday for this walk...but since me and mum is the first time goin, he walked with us while his frens lead the way...

I fall in love with the location after a long walk thru the fortress..and we reached an open grassland of small "hill" (heaps). The sky is so clear and the air is so fresh!~ Am really feeling healthy that day.

My first reaction when we reached the open field, camera quick!~ ^_^

I havnt been exercising ever since i started working...coz am too tired and lazy and sometimes, life is juz OTs and OTs...

So after that trip, we made an effort to wake up early every weekend to go for a walk at Bt Timah Hill. There are alot of ppl there, young and old, middle-aged, cyclists, foreigners, etc...people are quite surprisingly friendly too...as we walk in along the trail in the Hill, some will greet "good morning" or "Hi" or "thank you" when you gave way for the cyclist... These little greetings from strangers can made ur day too...

So, try it if you are free or want some adventure in life...you will feel diff too... ^_^

Biennale Singapore 2006

Heard of this event recently? Its an Art Event happening here in Singapore recently...called Biennale Singapore 2006.

Singapore Biennale 2006 is a major international contemporary art exhibition that will feature more 95 artists and artists collectives from over 38 countries and regions including Singapore.

There are 2 of the artworks that really caught my attention. I have visited one yesterday at Singapore River.

The artwork named, Miracle, is a art tree that looks so real you can never even spot it unless you ask around. (Thats what we did... ^_^")

Then you will see this board on the event and the artwork name place near the tree. The tree is a tree that rains. Its really a "miracle" to be able to see a tree that rains...but we did not manage to catch that scene, coz the tree only rains randomly...and we do not know when it will rain...just like real weather...

We waited for half an hour, but still, the tree did not rains... we decided to go next time round.

Anyway, if you wanna see it, its located alongside the Singapore River, Opposite Fullerton Hotel/UOB office tower. If you have time, just sit around there, and wait..oh...but not under the tree if you dont wanna get wet... ^_^ bring an umbrella...

Drama Special : Princess Hours

PRINCESS HOURS ^_^v

Have juz finish this Korean Hit drama today...finally...haha...dont be mistaken...actually this show is really nice...except maybe nearing ending, theres alot of misunderstandings between the leads thus resulted alot of crying and scolding scenes which you will be very sick of.

However, the last 2 ep is the most touching episode of the show. And, it marks a good ending to it.

I find that this show is very colourful. From this show you can see that Korea is really a very colourful country. It could be Asia's most colourful country afterall. Not only the sceneries, in this show, you can see from the traditional palace and clothing, it really brings out the colours of its country.

Another pro of this show, are the bears. Korea has this Teddy Bear Museum if you ever heard of, its one of the tourism point in Korea too...have chance muz go see..^_^ I think this show is to promote the Museum too. After watching the show, you will find that a teddy bear is not juz purely a bear to hug. It can alot more fun in many ways.

Well, i truly recommend this show to be watched and i heard, Channel U is goin to air this show soon...could be end of the year..so look out for it!!~ ^^

Tonite is the nite for Superband Grand Finals...and am glad with the result!! My fave band, or rather, our (coz my bros and mum supports them too ^_^) fave band have won the SUPERBAND title!! All the calling votes are worthwhile!! =^_^= *hee*

Anyway, you should take a look at this band performance, they are really really talented. Cool..and they are all very cute and nice ppl!! If you still dont know them, catch their performance on youtube bah!!~

MOVIE Special - The Lake House

I wanted to do this post on this movie very much coz i really like the show. While others may find the movie abit absurb or impossible, i think otherwise. I feel that this world is so big and full of amazement. There is no absolute. So, anything can happen. Anything that you think might not be possible, is possible. Only problem is, the probability; whether is it high or low. And, if you can capture the right moment.

This movie, Lake House, originated from Korea movie, Il Mare (as told by my fren), is a popular hit some years ago. Only, i didnt watch that one. I watched this by Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock because they are the leads. LOL...not really actually, they are part of the reason, coz their chemistry is good. But the main reason is, i came to know of this movie story line when my fren told me about it. It makes me wanna watch it. And, also, when i saw the commercial trailer for this movie, they are playing the song "Somewhere Only We Know" by Keane. This song is quite a hit years ago too. I love this song very much as i find the music and lyrics blend really well and gives me a feel of a sadly-loving emotion. Very touching. (juz like the movie)

TIMELINE - the timeline in this movie for the leads are not too far apart. Only 2 years, but this 2 years can a torture when you wanna do something straight-away. Juz like Keanu Reeves in the movie as Alex who wanted to meet Kate (starring Sandra Bullock) desperately they "get closer". He sort of dated her in his time, 2 years before, to meet in her time 2 years after; which is 2006. But he never turned up which hurts her deeply.

There is a twist near the ending. The twist is amazing and miraculously magnificent. LOL...big words used here....neh~ =P

He is supposed to be dead 2 years ago from her time, on the day when she coincidentally went to his Archi. Firm set up together with his brother and saw the Lake House design drawing, framed and hang up beautifully on the wall. She then knew that he is one who she tried to safe 2 years ago on the road when she witness a car accident. She did not recognise him that time. But now, she remembers. She hurried off to the lake house and place in a letter for him in the mailbox. Then she stood there praying that he saw the letter, after sometime, when there is no response from the mailbox, she kneeled down, crying, with a hand holding on to the pole of the mailbox.

In the letter, she has confessed her feelings for him finally and pleading him to wait for 2 years time to meet her at the Lake House, where she is now.

You should have seen this last scene, it was so touching. And guess what? He did saw the mail and he waited. He waited for 2 years and they finally met at the lake house. Hooray!!~ yeah? haha...i think it is when she prays so hard and that they really love each other to create this miracle.

You may have tot that i think too much. But again, i want to emphasise, this world is so big, you cant be absolute at any thing. Miracles do exist. Only if you truly believe.

This the end my post on this movie. Do catch it when you are free. Its really nice. =)

PS: The lake house, owner is Alex Wyler (starring Keanu Reeves) and tenant is Kate (starring Sandra Bullock).

hihi...sorry have been neglecting my blog for so long...sigh...have been quite bz recently in June..

well well...anyway, juz here to share bit of my life in june...

a friend/colleague have left XXX firm, she has been quite a big of moral support for me to say...coz when she and i are working in XXX firm, she will come over everyday to my workdesk for a short chat or so, and now, she decided to go further her study in SIM. Though with much unbearable disappointment, i still wanna wish her all the best la.. *think i will be doin that soon next year too...haha..hopefully lor..*

Introducing this wonderful Japanese Band!!~ HOIDOOS!!~

Went to watch ASIAN BEAT GRAND FINALS yesterday Ngee Ann Civic Plaza, Singapore, held by YAMAHA Music. Thanks to one of my colleague who has this ticket and offered them out.

There are all bands coming down to S'pore and they are really great!! Bands from Taiwan, China, Phillipines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and of coz our homegrown, Singapore competing to be the Asian Beat Band.

Well, the performance are marvellous!! Especially one great guest-star perfomance by Japanese Band, HOIDOOS. I was mesmerize by their music!! Incoporating Japanese music together with rock music, its really fresh and well blend!!~

Hana Yori Dango aka Meteor Garden

Hihi...am here to intro this show!! I know many of you have seen this show umpteen times!!~ Regardless of its anime or taiwanese drama, this show is still hot.

Recently, Japan has its own version of "Hana Yori Dango" also known as "Meteor Garden" starring,

Matsumoto Jun (Doumyouji Tsukasa)

Oguri Shun (Hanazawa Rui)

Matsuda Shota (Nishikado Soijiro )

Abe Tsuyoshi (Mimasaka Akira )

Mao Inoue (Makino Tsukushi)

Matsumoto Jun starring Doumyouji Tsukasa is a member of Arashi band. I heard of the band and know that they are quite popular but i have not seen its members photo yet. So, i got no idea of all the cast. Except for one though, Matsushima Nanako (Song Dao Cai Cai Zi) is starring as Doumyouji Tsubaki, Doumyouji sister!! Its a perfect role for her!! She suits this character very much and am glad she's in this too. Every casts fits their role so perfectly, so much youth, so much fun and they are simply cute enuf!!~ haha... o^.^o

One thing i like about this drama is, its following the origin of "Hana Yori Dango" anime/story quite closely as compared to the Taiwanese version. Unlike the Taiwanese version, it has distorted some facts of the show, like Tsukushi also known as Shan Cai, has a brother (if you remember from the anime) and that her parents are not that crazy to rush their daughter to wed someone from the school to become rich. Besides, other than following exactly the storyline of the anime, it added in some other things/scenes/synopsis that you cannot find in other version of Meteor Garden.

And, the casts are all very young and cute! I like cast of Tsukushi and Domyouji most!!~ ^__^This one ending is the best of all. You simply have to have a watch at it. This show is worthy. =)

Korean Drama Wave "My Name is Kim Sam Soon"

Its been a long time since i post!! Haha...how's everyone's CNY?? Well, hope its good and fun. Anyway, CNY is not over yet...enjoy!!^__^

I have been staying home all day this weekend which is not what i planned initially...but i am stuck with this Korean Drama that my colleagues and frens recommended. So, i borrowed from Julia to watch it, and i LOVE it!!! haha...its very very nice...

i heard that "Full House" is good too..but i choose to watch this instead of "Full House" becoz, i dont know the cast. I dont know how big is their influence or star rate. It will be more enjoyable to watch a film with casts you do not know, coz only then, you can enjoy the whole show fully, taking in the storyline, the acting skills and not watch juz becoz of the casts and you tend to neglect the important things in the show. That's why i choose "My Name is Kim Sam Soon"

The story is very nice. The casts acting are good. I watched and get addicted. This is how you should watch a drama.

The female lead, i really take my hats off her...or rather impressed by the director of the show. This is the only one show that has a plump and not very pretty actress to be the female lead. She's juz like a very normal not appealing girl on the streets you can find. She acted very rough and aunty in the show. If you are one who only watched for pretty actress and handsome actors, then you might not have the patience to watch thru the whole show.

Its about this girl at her 30s, wanted to get married but juz found out that her 3 yr BF is being unfaithful to her...she is very heartbroken and ran into the toilet to cry. But she went to the wrong one and met the Male Lead. Later on, she wanted to find a new job..(she wasnt working at the time when her ex-bf betrayed her.) She was discovered by the Male Lead of her baking skills and he needed one urgently at that time. He kinda "forced" her to go for interview at his restaurant. The male lead is a very rich guy whose mother is the president of certain big hotels. But he did not want to work for his mother as he thinks that the hotel business is his mother's own business, not his. He wanted to do/create his own. Thus, as you can imagine, the mother of coz is infuriated. He was often beaten and scolded by his mother. He was even being forced to go on blind dates set by his mother after his ex-gf left her.

Once, he wanted so much to recruit the female lead, Sam Soon, he followed her all day and took care of her after she got drunk (oh, she was upset as the male lead messed up her blind date). And the next day when the mother came to check on him at his apartment, she was shocked to see Sam Soon in the apt. So, her mother ask him to bring her to house visiting. The male lead, Jin-Heon, tot this is a good chance to stop all the blind dates his mother set for him. And asked Sam Soon to be his date for a year. Sam Soon asks him, why her, and he answered, coz he is certain that he will never fall for her as she is rough, not pretty and 2 years older than he is. Sam soon did not agree to such contract/agreement until when she faced some family problems and needed cash urgently. Thus, they agreed..and the story goes on. This portion is only the beginning. There are alot of quarrels at first and later, more honesty, complication (when Jin-Heon's ex-gf came back), and obstacles. Till finally, they both fell for each other. It takes quite some time for the Jin-Heon to truly confess though.

I know the whole scenario is quite as predicted like many other drama, its juz what i tot at the beginning, but after watching this show greatest different is at the actress.

I am not saying she is really ugly. She can be quite pretty at times, even prettier than another actress (Jin-Heon's ex). Then i realise, one does not have to be too pretty...coz whatever angle, whenever you look, you see the same and best of a face. You will get tired soon, as it is only the appearance.

Inversely, if your appearance is not appealing nor pretty, only normal, your beauty will be discovered as time passed. I tot every girl is pretty if make up is put on with the right hairstyle. Though one can be normal looking, surprises can be brought in later on as time passed to awe people. But if one is too pretty always, the percentage for surprises to occur is very mild, thats not very much of an exciting life without surprise, rite? (thats what i tot)

We have reached the last day of the year again, and we really need to thank 2005 for giving us all the memories it gave us this year. To me, i think life is a collection of memories. I am not goin to conclude this year in a way so formal, or politically important.. (thats not my job neh...and am not good at it..)

What i am gonna conclude here is that 2005, matters to all of us. In fact, every year does, coz every year, we live thru it. We will keep on welcoming the the new year approaching and bid goodbye to the old one..but the memory will live in our heart and mind always.

So, why is this year so memorable to me? Actually, not only me, its all my frens, classmates, sch mates of SP DBPM batch of students. Coz we ALL graduated from SP this mid year, and went on different paths we are now walking in life. Some us went Uni, some went NS, others found themselves the first step into the society, to work. Thats me included. No matter what we are doing now, we still share the most memorable times together in SP..rite? I do..and i always remember...coz its the time and place and peers that i mixed with, get me all relaxed and survived thru poly years..3 years..to me, it seems to past quite fast...missed it. But we moved on..carrying the memories along and coz its part of us already.

In the next few hours, we will be carrying all the memories (good and bad) into another year in seacrh of more memories for collection. I hereby wish all, happy searching and collection. ^_~

Watched this show on thurs with Tammie and Julia. I watched it becoz of alittle influence from Julia and becoz i read from the newspaper that its abit like Hollywood film "Moulin Rouge" starring Nicole Kidman and Ewan Mcgreggor.

After watching the whole show, i really love it. Its really really not bad!! ^_^ And i love the casts!! The casts are Zhou Xun (a popular China Actress),Takeshi Kaneshiro aka Jin Cheng Wu,
, is the male lead and Jacky Cheung Xue You.

The movie is an art. Its showing a movie story in a movie, juz like what the newspaper said it is. Both Zhou Xun and Kaneshiro are lovers initially. But due to her dreams of being an actress, leaving a heart-broken Kaneshiro waiting for her bitterly for 10 long years. Well, he became an actor too, and got a chance to shoot a movie together with her finally. And the story starts when they met at the Interview session of the movie.... (with flashbacks of their past)

Hee..wanna know more..have to go catch it le..^_^

Btw, i have been looking for the movie poster of this show for days!!! and i cant find the one shown in the newspaper!! I love that poster!!

CHICKEN LITTLE

KAWAII!!!~ Thats one word to really describe the movie!! Unlike other animated movie..this one is REALLY CUTE AND HILARIOUS!! ~ And, there are some scenes you have seen before in other movies!! Well, i cannot say exactly which scene, coz you have to watch it urself!! But i can list the name of other movie which Chicken Little adopted the scenes from. Movies like "SIgn" starring Mel Gibson, "The Princess Diary" and "War of the World". I saw the shadow of these 3 movies in the "Chicken Little" movie..and its...not bad!! LOL~

GO catch it for a good laugh!!!~ ^__^ *Highly Recommended*

7 Flowers Album

Recommending the 7 Flowers album, 7 Flowers! Well, i know its not a really nice and "IN" name..but the members are really as pretty as flowers and most importantly, the tracks in this album isnt that bad..in fact there are some really nice one worth hearing.

For track 1, the song is very cute..called "Ai4 De4 Hei1 Yan3 Quan1"..the lyrics very cute..saying how some gals got their dark eye circles due to a taxing love..the song is aired on the background of my blog currently.

Of coz, another worth listen to song in this album is none other than "Love her, Think about him" = "Hao Ai Ta, Hao Xiang Ta". This one is another duet song sang by 183 Club and 7 flowers. This song is nice and sad...its the theme song of "Wang Zi Bian Qing Wa Fan Wai Pian" which also ahave a sad ending. This is not the first time the 2 groups, 183 Club and 7 Flowers has sang duet together. Their first duet, "Bi Shang Yan, Muo Nian San Bian" is a duet for "Wang Zi Bian Qing Wa" drama, you will hear it in some scenes in the show.

Well, of coz those 2 tracks i mentioned above are not the only good tracks in the album, its juz that i cant go on describing more on others, cant really find words to describe them..haha..all in all, there is also a pc of VCD in this album, containing the MV of the Fan Wai Pian of Wang Zi and an awarding scene of 183 Club and 7 flowers shooting. And, this is y, if you check out this album in the CD Stores, it cost about $20++..but if you know where to find this CD in certain shops, you will be able to get a reasonable, or cheaper price of it. There is one in Outram, sold the CD @ $17.90 which is really worth it lor..and its original too!! ^^ Check it out bah~

All in all, i think for starters to do an album like this, its very much encouraging and worth supporting..^^

I rate this 7 Flowers Album, a 3 and 1/2 stars out of 5.

HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE

Juz watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire movie yesterday and i muz say..its really diff from the rest of the previous 3 HP Movies..this one is more exciting and "worrying"..

Well, am quite a big fan of HP..i started watching the first and second movie, then started reading from the 3rd book, Prisoner of Azkaban till the latest, Half Blood Prince. And, now am re-reading the books (well, not all..i only got the 3rd and the 5th one..others are borrowed "property"..lol)coz there is always a time for "Harry Potter Season"!

Okie, back to the movie, Goblet of Fire, i find the movie quite nicely make actually..before watching it, i know its a 2hr 30min or so film..which i think the film is quite short to be able to elaborate more on the actual story..but after watching i think the summary is good coz the main points are there..it introduce the most important material in this film at the start, the Portkey. The film explained what a Portkey does by showing the Weasly family, Harry Potter and the father and son of Diggory went to the hilltop to find the American boot shoe as the Portkey to transport them from one place to another. And, this is how at the final round of the Triwizard Tournament, Harry and Cedric got hold of the Triwizard Cup not knowing its a Portkey transporting them to Lord Voldemort.

There is really entertaining scenes in this movie, like the dress robe of Ron's made by his mother for him to go to the Yule Ball, How Ron and Harry's first quarrel ends and i really have to agree with Hermione after watching the two, "boys~" wahahaa...

After watching this movie, i kinda start to like harry potter. Not that i dislike him initially, but he wasnt my fave character always in the movie..until this movie. I tot he was very independent and kind in this ep. He is really alone to take up all the challenges, fighting a dragon, saving his frens, walking the maze and duelling with Voldemort. He's really brave. I feel pity for him when Voldemort took his blood, thats his "protection" from his mother, Voldemort couldnt even lay a finger on him last time..now that he is reborn with Harry's blood as part of him, theres no longer any barrier between him and harry. See how he pressed his finger hard on harry's forehead causing him pain? So poor thing, Harry is!! Afterall, I like the last portion of the movie especially..the one when they are in the maze all the way till they, or rather he escaped from Voldemort. Can i say its the most exciting part of the movie?

The movie is worth watching, but if you hadnt read any of the books or know nothing about the magical world of Harry Potter, the movie might not be very appealing to you...and you might have difficulty in knowing whats goin on although to the very least extent, you will still know who is harry, the bad guy, the general things..etc..so, go catch it bah!!~ ^__^

oh..one more comment, i like the previous 2 ep Dumbledore, this one staring also in the 3rd movie, isnt very convincing enough like the one in the previous 2 ep..who looks real dear and caring to Harry. Unfortunately, he died after filming the 2nd movie..

Well, to conclude, that's so far so good for the 4th movie, let's look forward to the 5th movie next year, HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF PHOENIX ^_^

Final Fantasy: Advent Children

To start off, i have to say, this is really a great show!! Great Graphics and motion/animated pictures!! Although i dont really get the storyline..i find it satisfying enought to see all the stunts and great angle shots shown in the movie!!

I get to know this show thru Mingpei's recommendation..we planned to watch it together, unfortunately, its not airing here in Singapore cinemas. Now that the DVD/VCD is released, am so tempted to buy it but i have exceeded my expenses this month...so i have to wait for next month's pay to come..

Luckily, I get the chance to watched it yesterday when my bro borrowed from his fren. And, i'm really awed by the stunts, graphics in animated movie..so real and cool!!

Be sure to catch this show if you can!! Its quite worth it!!

Juz saw an ep i tot is so far the best ever after which Jun Hao lost his Dang Ou's memory. Hee..looking forward for more coming ep!!~ And soooo glad its goin to be weekend again!!!~ ^__^ I really need rest!!! This week has been quite bz at work neh!! Not only me la..my colleagues too..they muz be real tired too..can see..*you too rite? ^_~*

Keke...saturday coming lor..Ping muz be real excited..coz she's gonna cel her bday neh!!~ so happy for her..Big 21st Bday...*so young!!* =P (not that am old...but 21st is really a Young Adult!! Yet Mature Yet Teenage. LOL..

Got a fren bday today!! Though i doubt she will read this post of mine, juz to let one know that today is someone's special day!! Though you may not know her..you will be happy for her, yeah? The show although a bit "Kua Zang" but the actor and actress are really cute!! And i mean only the Main Leads ar...Dang Ou and Tianyu (name of the characters)!! hee...Qiao En really can act!! Her expression are real funny and cute!! haha..and Ming Dao ar..very cute, boyish look too!! So compatible..^^

So what its another fairytale story?? We all love fairytale!! Dont we? If you dont, okay la..but one thing for sure, i love it!!! Wahahaha...this cannot be happening in real life, so satisfaction from the drama/story or whatever is good...hee...

My little dream fulfilled...hee..~

Ah..the post is here...haha..a post on desaru trip!! Oh..before i start..with regards to the above photo and its annotation, FYI, my little dream is to sit on a vast area of beautiful grassland, enjoying the scenery and relaxing...aww...but this grassland is bit small in area yeah? haha...nevertheless, my little dream is sort of fulfilled here neh~ and am happy!! hee =)

The trip was er...quite okay..we had fun among ourselves (my group of frens) but the first day lunch was very, extremely disappointing...

And the journey on the coach was really long!! there isnt much scenery along the road except for a big field of plantation (really vast, like neverending...) and little hills..

Oh..and i watch Kung Fu second time..haha..its a free show and we got nothing better to do..so juz watch it la.. hee =)

In conclusion, the trip was basically fun only among ourselves...other than that...dont ask me.. -_-"

keke..enough la..am really glad to be back home. I love Singapore!!~ =)

This morning...

I got chase by a doggie today, early in the morning...scare me leh...

its a beautiful white doggie..initially it looks cute...then it approach me..i say hello to the doggie..and it started circling me and started barking...i began sense bit danger..and i panicked then run, and it chased after me!!! I scream and ran. But after a short distance of chasing, it changes direction and stopped chasing. I start to feel a bit of relieve and stop my screaming and running..but i realised i have gotten myself too much attention..everyone on the way to MRT are eyeing me..Wah liew!! So embarassed!!

I tried to see where the dog owner is..letting its dog run freely lidat..but it did not go to anyone. And, it has got no chain or whatsoever around its neck. Could it be a lost dog? i wonder...and what a morning scare...

Juz finish watchin the whole show!! wahhh!!!~ So nice...its got friendship, love and fun!!!

The chemistry between the leads are very well dissolve together!! Very touching and romantic!! ^____^

The Female lead is also the lead of the jap movie "Crying out love in the center of the world" that was shown in Singapore a month ago...I have been trying to catch that movie for soooo long...but i missed it in the end... -_- BUT! I will buy its VCD!! LOL!!~ ^___^V,, oh yeah!!~

And, i juz found out that she also aired in one of the Jap movie years ago called "GO" which was also aired last year or so in CH 8 during the Jap Festive Season..(where Spirited Away was aired first time on tv, remember??)

While the Male lead is also quite goood looooking!!! he is the lead actor of "Water Boys"!!! the show/movie that was aired in Ch 8 sometime ago twice!!! if you missed it....tooo bad neh!!!!~ lol...dont worry la..think it will be aired again..otherwise, buy VCD lor...hee...

Orange Days - Jap drama

Orange days!! This is one very nice japanese show that my colleague intro me!!

This show called "ORANGE DAYS" has got Waterboys Male Lead and Good Luck Female lead in the cast. And the story is about a group of Uni students in their last year of Uni life. The Female lead, , is a deaf gal who is very talented in music. She played well in Violin and Piano. Although she is only deaf, she does not wanna talk as well coz she couldnt hear the way she sounds and was laughed at once when she tried to talk strangely..after then, she never talk again and she uses sign languages to communicate with others.

The story surround the "Orange group" they called themselves for theirs days of sunshine life. Sweet and Sour. Each members dream and life difficulties they faced made the story interesting. And, its quite a QUIET show coz they have used sign languages to communicate most of the time due to the female lead's disability in hearing.

I have only watched till ep 4 and am loving it already!!!~ I love the leads!! The female lead, if you recall is the gal from "Good Luck" where Takuya Kimura starred as Pilot, which was aired in Ch 8 not long ago.

And the Male lead, of coz most of you would have watched "Water Boys" before? Its really a nice and hilarious show..and the male lead isnt bad looking at all!!~ ^__^
I dont know if Singapore have this show on sale yet..but can try to look out for this show in the VCDs!!~

Yesterday met up with rabbit after work and we chatted on alot of things..mainly regarding the problems of her colleague..then i started asking her what are their horoscope..haha..i cant help it!!

haha..subject makes it sounds like i am very old..but plzzzz....no hor!! LOL..

I decided to put up one more post before another start of the week of another bz, tiring working days..and after what ah min says "dont be lazy.." wahahaha...am not!! =P

Was actually tidying up my stuff in the drawer when i saw all the letters/cards/notes that my frens wrote to me...and then i felt a flow of happiness and "rich-ness"!! Having all my frens with me till today!!~

Found this sketch drawn by Ah-Rabbit years ago...it was drawn when we graduated from Secondary and are working part-timers while waiting for our 'O' levels...she gave me in one of the letters she replied..

During that time, we use office waste papers to write to each other..coz working life is bored and becoz we are working as part-timers, its not that bz all the time...(not like the perm job now yeah?) haha..its more fun back-then! But, we all have to grow up..and although the fun isnt the same as before...as long as we are still together as friends, we will share the new and old fun together!!!

All the past memories that we had together, its worth reminising from time to time...so....

Xinhui, esp, she's lovely, cute, fun-loving, chubbly and shining with potential!!!~ All this makes her someone's Superstar!!

Went to watch this movie yesterday. Its quite a short film, seeing its duration is only about 1 hour plus.

Its not a bad movie..after watching it you feel the lives of the Emperor Penguins are very fragile..and time is very precious for each minute/second that passes, can cause the death of any of the family members.

Nice film and the Songs in it are wonderful!!!~~ A MUST BUY OST of this movie~~ ^___^

I went to see the fireworks yesterday for the countdown of our National Day. The Venue is at Marina Bay, theres a carnival there..but me and my frens didnt head there..instead we went to Esplanade, because we presumed that it will be over-crowded at Marina Carnival and by the time we have finish our dinner, we wont be able to book a nice spot for viewing. So, we went to Esplanade.

The fireworks are quite far from Esplanade..so we dont really got the close view of it..but i managed to get some nice pics of the fireworks by ZOOMING the my camera pixels to the max..LOL~

Friendship Gift

Finally, i have received the gift parcel from my England friend!! I have been waiting for this for weeks!! Eversince she emailed me to tell me that the gift should be on its way, but got delayed in fact after one week when she realized.

Well, its a gift from far away, so the waiting time could be long. SO, i dont even mind. ^^

I knew this friend through the anime *Gundam Seed /Gundam Seed Destiny*. We both love the anime so much and started to email each other and talk about the anime. Then, i started to play with blog and she offered me so much help in making my blog look good..thus, i sent her a piece of acrylic with our fave anime characters (Naruto - Sasuke and Sakura) craving on it.

I like the feeling of sending a gift over to the other end of the world *sort of* and the receipent receives it!!~ Moreover, its something one will really appreciates!! Am sooo glad!!

Well, story ends here, this is why i got this friendship bracelet from Stacey!!~ Its sooo sooo beautiful, isnt it?? Its sky blue in color!!~ ^____^

This is a farewell and thank you gift for siewhuay on her last day in DLS..Arigato, for introducing me this job..haha..not that this job is very good, but it isnt tat bad either!! ^_~ And, i really appreciates ur help orh!!~ Wish you all the best in NUS!!~

Okie..its monday again..juz finish my lunch..

So lonely..and tired..most of my frens are goin off le..(leaving the company..makes you wonder whats the turnover rate of the company yeah? haha...) actually, the most important thing is that one of my dearest fren who intro me this job has left the company last friday to further her studies, thus, i feel bit lonely here..-_-

But then, it could be the work of Monday Blues that makes me feel this way..aiya..juz tired and restless to work..

Did alot of furniture formation in my own house recently..so its like another spring cleaning for us over the weekend...

And, am spending on VCDs again.. :P wonder when will i ever stop buying the animes...haha..dont even wonder..will kill most of ur brain cells..coz its like bit impossible for me to stop buying the VCDs..haha...Moreover, i will buy things that i like( mostly animes magazines, collectibles, etc) whenever am feeling down or sad..Argh..with this kind of spending pattern..hmm..how much savings will i have left?? Not that am feeling down so often, but the addiction to animes is probably the main cause of it. I can even buy it when am feeling happy or in normal days...haha..

Enough about my bad habit..gtg..start work lor..lunch time over liao...

My Graduation day...

Oh..so excited and tired today..nearly late..or am already late lar..

We are supposed to be seated by 8.30am and ceremony will start at 9.30am..but becoz of traffic jam..and rain..and coz i took up quite sometime to prepare myself..i was delayed..but heng heng..still got alot of ppl arrived at that time..so phew~

Ceremony was actually smooth enough..not that boring..juz some waiting here and there..after the ceremony, we quickly proceed to take photos..chit chat here and there..then eat lunch in school..look for teachers to take photos and chit chat again..

Until 4 plus, when we missed our time for the japanese movie, "Crying out Love in the center of the World", i went home. I dont wanna watch "Chong Bu Zhi", a chinese movie.

I'll watch tat japanese movie tml or so..hopefully am able to catch it while it is still showing..

My saturday is basically eating, and its eating "expensively.." er..its not exactly expensive for the dinner but for the lunch its considered quite expensive..as we were having buffet at Traders hotel..

At the Lift lobby entrance..

Then for dinner, me and my frens went to dine at Suntec's Buffet Steamboat near the main entrance. It was quite okay a price for us. $17.10 each.

Food wasnt bad either, especially the deserts!! Its marvellous!! Ah min loves the chocolate cake especially!! As for the soup base, i think i have chosen the wrong one..i choose Tom Yam soup as the soup base...it was tasty at first..but the more you drink, the hotter/spicy-er it gets..so if you are not really good at eating spicy food, i would advise not to take the Tom Yam soup base.

Afterall, its not bad a day..but tiring..haha..and tml is monday again..work..hafta wake up early..so gtg take an early sleep.

My Job...

Its been a long time since my last post..hmm..coz am currently working..py has asked me to blog more about my job..haha..so here it goes!!~

Basically, its somewhat related to what i have studied in Poly although its not exactly my diploma nor course of study..but still i can at least exercise whatever i have learnt in school here..

I actually got this job through one of my fren's recommendation, she asked me to try applying coz the co. is looking for quite a number of ppl..

This company has hired lots of my classmates and school mates..so basically, i can see quite a number of familiar faces. But most of them are leaving soon too..coz they goin to further their studies.

Okay, my job is actually assisitant quantity surveyor. Mmm..so far..this is only my 2nd day, so nothing much..first day do nothing but reading..lotsa reading..coz they havent got anything for me to do yet..but today, finally i get to do something!! I tot am really good at reading dwg but, after i assigned to check the specifications along with the dwgs, gosh..the dwg items are soo soo small and lotsa small words of indication..i have a really hard time doing the vetting..neck very suan...-_-

My working place is very near to my previous working place..its at central mall..near MOM there..working hour is like 8 hr per day lor..pay not much..quite cheap too..i deduct approximately all my expenses per month ar..not much left..sob sob..

Aiya, but then starting is lidat one..i must learn something and work hard for the numbers!! LOL~

Gtg then, tell more next time..!!^^

Finally i finished downloaded the Inuyasha 4th movie yesterday. I played it immediately using the windows media player..wow..the scenes are really showing!! Am soo happy!!^^

BUT...when the characters started talking..they speak in Japanese..well, its not entirely the problem..coz i like them speaking Japanese than in other languages..it'll be more comfortable to listen to..its just that..IT DOES NOT HAVE ANY SUB-TITLES!!! Ahhhhh~

No sub-titles?!!? Oh ya..its stated RAW Version.. -_-"

OMG..how am i gonna understand the least bit of it!?!? sigh..but i kinda understand bit of it though..simple japanese, and from the scenes, i can sort of figure out the whole story or rather understand mildly whats the story about.

Well, at least, i watched it. LOL~ even though i dont really understand it quite well.. ^^

Here's why:-

Turning in late will affect Your:

1) Daily Mood (you'll be easily irritated by small things around/restless to be happy)

2) Concentration (Cannot think well enough as your mind and soul are tired..)

3)Health ( As the Chinese saying goes, "turn in early, wake up early gives you a healthy body" something lidat..)

4) Beauty!! (main concern for all ladies!! turning in late not only gives you a "panda look", it will also dehydrate your skin)

So, turn in early peeps!! Dont linger late tonight!! Sleep well and tight!! ^_~

Today not working...coz goin back to school to take a Safety Cert.

Hmm..problems are arising everywhere..in real life..in blog..and in the computer!! Argh...

First, Computer..am using a bit torrent..hopinng to d/l some anime to watch..but the bit torrent is not moving at any rate lor..everytime connect its at 0% rate..sigh..dunno hafta wait till when then can finish the d/l ar..if slow..nvm..but what if theres some problem somewhere and i do not know and still keep waiting for nothing?!?! Hah! see first la..3 days probation..if still 0% rate..am gonna seek helpers...haha..

Secondly, the speechbox and the background song of my blog are now in error..well..for the speechbox, i have checked out my frens blog and the same problem in their blog too..so i think its the system down..
As for the background song..sigh..am used to it..hafta refresh the link/url every now and then when i logged in to check my blog..

Finally, in real life..dont wish to talk about it yet..just tat everyone has their own problems..so whats the big deal..i just settle on my own la..and let time heal/patch/settle the things.. :P

Today's topic on Sesshomaru, Inuyasha's half brother.

I just read the comic of the 3rd movie of Inuyasha named, Sword of the World Conquest.

Now, this is the movie where we will see the unity of the 2 brothers, Inuysha and Sesshomaru. I have to say, Sesshomaru isnt really bad...he just loved and admire his father (who is also Inuyasha's father) so much that he cant understand why he's father would rather sacrifice himself to protect Inuyasha's mother and Inuyasha himself (at that time, Inuyasha is still an unborn).

The story shows the love of their parents and the 3 swords his father owned. The 3 swords are namely:

1 Tenseiga - Sesshomaru's Sword

2 Souunga - The evil sword

3 Tessaiga - Inuyasha's Sword

The Souunga was kept in Kagome's house for hundreds of years but becoz of the "incapability" of the sword-guider, a servant soul of Inuyasha's father, he had let the sword came free and went to look for a puppet for it to rule/destroy the world.

This is when Sesshomaru and Inuyasha has to come into picture to use their swords together to fight Souuga. Of coz, they didnt cooperate. At least, not obviously..and not at the start.

Its only at the end of the fight that they in turns (...yesh, in turns..they did not do it together..what can i say..they are still the 2 stubborn brothers after all -_-"), excel out the best of their power to destroy Souuga FInally...

Although, throughout the fight, Inuyasha is still not strong enough as compared to Sesshomaru, but he did have something, some good points that Sesshomaru did not have. He had the strong will to protect the one person he loved, Kagome. Thus, even though he fails in lots of attempts to conquer, he did not give up.

Oh..i dont mean that Sesshomaru is the one who easily gave up in a fight, but he too realise, (under the influence of Inuyasha and his father's words for him) he did found the person he wanted to protect. The little girl named, Rin.

That is why in the end, they both did it. (as in destroying the sword, Souunga)

Am really glad to see that during some fights, Sesshomaru did the duty of a big brother, he has protected Inuyasha a few times during the fight, although not obvious, but still obvious enough to see...hee~

Way to go Sesshomaru!!~ You're a good demon afterall...^_^

Star Wars Episode III : Revenge of the Sith!!! I just caught this movie on tues night with my same old gang of frens, we called ourselves "Star Wars Troops"..LOL~ Actually its only me...its just my idea of calling our group with this name..hee...coz few years ago, we, the same group to frens watched Star Wars Episode II together, and after soo soo many years, although the group has got less ppl, (coz some cannot make it), but we still enjoy ourselves and i have to say, Episode III is way better and exciting than Episode II.

Havnt been posting any msg in my blog lately..as i have been bz reading this story book that i borrowed from the library.

Its really a nice story. Chinese fantasy story, i would say. Its about creation of earth/universe. The story mainly surrounds the Gods and Angels dispute, love, friendship, kinship, etc..

The story has 2 volume. First volume called "Blade of Silence" (as shown above) and the second volume called "The War of Lords". The main title of the story in hanyupinyin is called "Shen2Zhi4Zhi1Yan3"

One of the most interesting thing in this book is that it explains the rank of Gods and Angels are differentiates by the number of wings one has behind its back.

Its really a nice and touching story i would highly recommend. (^_^)

Head down to any national library to look for this book and read when you're free..hee.. however, if you are living in the north-west are like me..i can tell you that there are 3 copies of first volume and 2 copies of 2nd volume in Lot 1,(Opposite Choa chu kang MRT station) national library..otherwise, you can also visit Westmall, (Opposite Bt. Batok MRT station)
national library to borrow it.^^

Yesterday i went to WM, thinking of catching a movie as i havnt seen one nice one in weeks or months..i lost count..but there isnt one that suits my "appetite"..most of the movie are like horror movies and comedy??

Its not that i dont like comedy movie, but not those too..er..low standard one..or no meaning one. Arh, maybe i just have to wait more and meanwhile can save the movie $$, coz really spent alot these days..

Anyway, here's one good movie i saw years ago..really meaningful..can go rent to watch or buy the vcd/dvd..this one called "Save the Last Dance" by Julia Stiles.

Interview day~

Today went for an interview as a Project Coordinator position..the interview process was quite a relaxing and fun one..the 2 interviewers are very comfortable to speak to. But i have a hard time finding the place..its just me..actually i "mis-count" few bus stops and got wrong at the wrong bus stop and over walk too.. :P

However, the waiting time spent on waiting for the bus, is very long..half an hour for the bus..phew..

Luckily, i have my fave disc man and OST of "Mars"(see above picture) to accompany me..hee~ my fave taiwanese drama!!~ So overall, i like today.. (",)

Hope ur today is good too..if not, dont worry..there's always a Better tml!!~

Today i have just finish watching the whole series of taiwanese drama "mArs", i tot the whole story and plot are very well managed and written. And the characters played their roles well enough to make me enjoy the whole show and see the meaning of one's life.

I really like the show and the OST of it..watch it when you have time. Its worth it.
